Under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, if a person is involved in an accident or the person dies under an accident, in such a situation, ₹200,000 are provided by insurance to the family of that person.

If a person who has an accident causes permanent disability such as the eye of his hands and feet, the victim is provided security insurance upto ₹100000.

Eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana

  • The person applying should be an Indian resident.
  • The age of the applicant should be from 18 years to 70 years. If it exceeds, it will not be able to avail the benefits under this scheme.
  • Candidates need to have an active savings bank account to avail benefits under the scheme.
  • For auto debit, the applicant has to sign the Consent Letter of Policy Premium.
  • The entire 12 premium amount will be deducted simultaneously on May 31 every year.
  • If the premium is not deposited, the policy cannot be renewed.

Process of applying under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana
